The rural scene is my favorite photograph.  However, it is the hardest to compose.  Each element of the scene must have faultless stability — the perfectly balanced composition that has taken years to acquire.  Too much road — a ruined scene.  Too little road — an impoverished work of art.  As we allow our eyes to travel through these landscapes of our rural culture, they remind us of simpler times, times less busy, times more personal.
